Register of Licence Holders Terms of Use


Object

The Register of License Holders (the "Register"), accessible via the website registre-public.bspquebec.ca, of which the Bureau de la sécurité privée (the "Bureau") is the owner and administrator, constitutes the public register that it is kept up to date in accordance with sections 76 and following of the Private Security Act (CQLR, c. S-3.5).

Acknowledgment

By using the Register, the user acknowledges having read, understood, and accepted these terms of use.

The Bureau may, at its discretion and without notice, suspend access to the Register, temporarily or permanently, to any person who does not respect the terms of use. In addition, the Bureau reserves the right to take any other appropriate measure aimed at enforcing these terms of use.

Amendments

The Bureau may modify, at any time and without notice, these terms of use. It is the user's responsibility to check whether changes have been made to it by referring to the date of the last update indicated on this document.

The fact of consulting or using the Register constitutes a tacit acceptance by the user of the modifications made to these conditions.

Accuracy of information

Except for information relating to any licence, the data contained in the Register comes from information declared by licence holders.

Everyone is responsible for the accuracy of the information they declare to the Bureau. If you find that the Register contains inaccurate information, please contact us at info@bspquebec.ca.

Note that the licence information is consistent with the data provided by the Bureau's systems as of the date and time indicated at the top of the search page.

Restrictions

It is strictly prohibited to undertake or carry out the following activities, directly or indirectly, by any means:

Limitation of Liability

The Bureau may, at any time and without notice, temporarily interrupt access to the Register for maintenance reasons to ensure proper functioning, without having to grant compensation.

Despite the efforts deployed by Bureau to ensure its proper functioning, it cannot be held responsible for the performance of the Register. Incidentally, the Bureau is in no way responsible for the interruption or suspension of access to the Register, in particular in the event of breakdowns, network problems, force majeure or events beyond its control, or any damage that may result from it.

In addition, the Bureau can in no way be held responsible for any loss or damage relating to your computer system, including, without limitation, loss of data, transmission of viruses, attempted intrusion and piracy of the data, files, or programs it contains.

Hyperlinks to the Register

The Bureau reserves the right to accept, refuse or prohibit hyperlinks leading to the Register, at its sole discretion, without notice and at any time.

Any person to whom the Bureau refuses or prohibits a hyperlink on a site, document or other leading to the Register must remove this hyperlink, without delay.

The Bureau declines all responsibility for the content of third-party sites, documents or otherwise, containing such a hyperlink and does not recognize any affiliation with them.

Privacy

The Bureau manages the confidentiality of information obtained in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

Applicable laws and competent jurisdiction

Any dispute that may arise from these terms of use is governed by the law applicable in the Province of Quebec. Any dispute resulting from the use of the Register or of these terms of use must be brought before a court in the judicial district of Montreal, Quebec, Canada, to the exclusion of any other jurisdiction.
